KNUST Appoints Prof Rita Akosua Dickson as its new Vice Chancellor

The Governing Council of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, has appointed Professor Mrs Rita Akosua Dickson as the new vice-chancellor of the university, with effect from  1st August 2020 to 31st July, 2020. The Council made the appointment at its ''258th (Special) Meeting on Thursday, 25th June, 2020 upon the acceptance of the Report of the Search Committee for the Appointment of Vice-Chancellor for the University'', as indicated in a letter from the Office of the Registrar. Notice of Appointment  Prof Mrs Akosua Dickson replaces Prof Kwasi Obiri Danso as vice-chancellor, who was first appointed in 2016, having served the usual four-year term.
