MTN Ghana Data Service Bounces Back

MTN Ghana wishes to make known to its customers in the country the full restoration of its data services after days of accidental disruption.

MTN data service practically went off a few days ago after a reported submarine fiber cut, causing nuisance for many of its customers, especially users of smart phones and internet devices.

MTN announced that their "engineers were working to resolve the challenge," and that they "regret the inconvenience caused."

Phone call and SMS connectivity were quite intact because they rely on cell towers instead of fiber optic cables which are mainly used for internet connection.

MTN customers can be rest assured that the giant telco has done well to restore connectivity within the shortest possible time and can get back to their data subscriptions to enjoy the best from MTN.
