Movie Premiere: Best Friends in the World - Senior Year

One of Nigeria's leading young people focused film producers Neptune3 Studios is at it again with the premiere of their flagship original web series, Best Friends in the World - Senior Year, a sequel to Best Friends in the World (Junior Year).

The premiere has already garnered over 450K views on YouTube as at 6th March, 2021, with an average streaming rate of 9000 views per hour.

Best Friends in the World details the lives of young senior high school students who primarily struggle to balance social and academic life. The focus is particularly on a circle of friends who must overcome feelings and other forces in order to maintain the bond they share.

 Its themes include young love, competition, dominance  and the usual messages that young people movies tend to communicate.

Even though it is mainly youth focused, older people can also watch to learn, unlearn and relearn to better understand the younger folk; their struggles, desires, and most things about their lives which may be oblivious to parents.

The series stars Jeiel Damina, Emmanuel Esiet, Inemesit Essien, Nancy Eke, Christian Peterside, Amarachi Ihezuo, Israel Henry, Wisdom Kingsley, Stonia, Gift Etim, Enwongo Martins, Emmanuel Nse.

The characters in the series played their respective roles very well in the prequel which contributed to projecting the series to a greater fan base. Fans are hoping that the sequel which is the Senior Year will be even more exciting and educative.

Emperor Tewodros II ruled over Ethiopia from 1855 till his death in 1868. His rule brought considerable development and change to the military and the structure of governance such that his era is described as the beginning of Modern Ethiopia. He was born in 1818 and became king at the age of 37. His father Hailu Welde Giyorigis was the ruler of the Qwara district.
