MTN Ghana wishes to make known to its customers in the country the full restoration of its data services after days of accidental disruption. MTN data service practically went off a few days ago after a reported submarine fiber cut, causing nuisance for many of its customers, especially users of smart phones and internet devices. MTN announced that their "engineers were working to resolve the challenge," and that they "regret the inconvenience caused." Team members getting ready to engage prospects  As part of its disability advocacy endeavour, Strength in Disability KNUST on Saturday, 21st September 2019 embarked on an outreach to the streets of Kumasi around the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), in the Oforikrom Municipality. The outreach saw team members interacting with persons with disabilities (PWDs) who normally beg on the streets for survival. The engagement was to enable the team ascertain the challenges they face and also show them there are people who care about them. A mobility-impaired woman who gave her name as Josephine Arthur, a single parent who has to seek alms from passersby in order to cater for her needs  and that of her child shared her story as the team interacted with her. SID Project A team of students from selected tertiary institutions in Ghana is embarking on a project intended to affect many lives positively and ultimately contribute significantly to societal development. The project, dubbed "Strength In Disability" (SID), is a joint effort of the Ghana Association of Disability and Rehabilitation Students (GADRES -KNUST) and other institutions which basically seeks to educate society on the relevance of Persons Living with Disabilities (PLWDs); and the fact that having a disability does not make you less human. "Ignorance has made many persons living with disabilities burdens, instead of being beneficial to the society. The primary purpose of the project is to influence society's viewpoint of PLWDs; to see them as people with special needs, who can do something to help themselves and the society at large. Emperor Tewodros II ruled over Ethiopia from 1855 till his death in 1868. His rule brought considerable development and change to the military and the structure of governance such that his era is described as the beginning of Modern Ethiopia. He was born in 1818 and became king at the age of 37. His father Hailu Welde Giyorigis was the ruler of the Qwara district. At the time, Ethiopia had no single ruler but rulers of various districts who gained more as they conquered other districts.
